Dr. Sperber graduated from the prestigious Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1980. Following dental school, Dr. Sperber completed a General Practice Dental Residency at St. Lukes's/Roosevelt Medical Center in NYC, where he had the opportunity to treat patients both in the dental clinic and also in the operating room. This residency allowed him to gain practical experience in all aspects of dentistry.
A native of Long Island, Dr. Sperber grew up in North Bellmore and attended Hofstra University, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and was inducted into the university’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
Dr. Sperber entered private practice in Copiague in 1983 where he practiced until 1992 when he relocated to his present office in Lindenhurst. Dr. Sperber enjoys all phases of dentistry. He especially enjoys keeping up with the newest leading-edge dental techniques. Dr. Sperber is a member of various dental study clubs which are designed to keep dentists up to date on the latest dental technology. These clubs offer classes that allow dentists to enhance their skills and techniques in various phases of evolving dentistry. Dr. Sperber continues to take continuing dental education classes. Last year he was awarded the NYS Dental Society’s 1000 hours of Continuing Education certificate.
Dr. Sperber is a member of the American Dental Society, NYS Dental Society, and the Suffolk County Dental Society.
Dr. Marc Sperber, DDS - Inside of the office when not in the office Dr. Sperber is an avid triathlete and runner. He has competed in many local triathlons which involve swimming, running, and biking. He has participated in the Long Island Half Marathon and the New York City Marathon. Some other races he has also participated in are Swim from Alcatraz in San Francisco, the Survival of the Shawanagunks in New Paltz, NY, the Great Hudson River Swim, and the swim around Governor’s Island in NYC.
Dr. Sperber has been married to his college sweetheart since 1977. They have three children, four now with their son-in-law. Their children are a continued source of pride for them.
Dr. Sperber is very committed to providing quality dental care. His goal is to keep up with the latest advancements in dentistry and bring them to his patients.
